Wabash Valley Baseball has been a force to reckon with when it comes to offense. The Warriors this past weeked played in and won the PBT JUCO Invite while averaging 16 runs in their four games. Wabash Valley is currently on a six game win streak and are 9-1 in their last 10 games.
In game one, the Warriors knocked off Elgin Community College 14-4. Owen Cornett lead the Warriors with 4 RBIs. Also contributing for Wabash Valley was Connor Christenson with 3 RBIs, Bryce Adams with 3 RBIs, and Leandro Hernandez with 2 RBIs. Enrico Veach and Konner Brown both had an RBI. Dylan Thompson earned the win on the mound for Wabash Valley. He moves to 3-0 on the season.
Game two was more of the same. Wabash Valley beat North Central Missouri College 18-8. Konner Brown paced the Warriors at the plate with 4 RBIs. Andrew Dixon and Enrico Veach both added 3 RBIs. Brady Atwell and Bryce Adams both finished with 2 RBIs. Logan Marsell and Owen Cornett tallied an RBI each. Larsen Burch was rewarded with the win on the mound.
The Warriors had a hit parade against Southwest Tennessee Community College in game three. Wabash Valley finished with 14 hits. Five of those hits were homeruns. Bryce Adams, Enrico Veach, Brady Schallmoser, Cameron Dube, Argenis Lopez all left the yard for the Warriors. Cameron Dube and Bryce Adams had 3 RBIs each. Drake DeFreitas, Argenis Lopez, and Leandro Hernandez all added 2 RBIs. Enrico Veach, Brady Schallmoser, Connor Christenson, Konner Brown, and Reece Harbison all had an RBI for the Warriors. Hayden Alexander was the winning pitcher.
In the final game of the weekend, Wabash Valley added another 16 hits in their 18-7 victory over Northwest Shoals Community College. The Warriors had three homeruns in the game courtesy of Brady Schallmoser, Connor Christenson, and Drake DeFreitas. At the dish, DeFreitas paced the Warriors with three hits. Tallying RBIs in the game were Brady Schallmoser(4), Drake DeFreitas(4), Enrico Veach (3), Connor Christenson(2), Brady Atwell(2), Owen Cornett(1), Leandro Hernandez(1), and Argenis Lopez(1). Brendan Mullin was the winning pitcher for the Warriors.
The Warriors currently sit in the top ten of eleven different offensive categories. Of those eleven categories, the Warriors claim the top spot in five of them.
