Warriors go 2-2 In Panama City Beach

Wabash Valley Baseball started their season in Panama City Beach at the PCB Classic after the season opener was cancelled due to Winter Storm Fern. The Warriors were supposed to play in the 2026 New Balance Future Stars Series Juco Showdown from January 25th-27th at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. The cancellation allowed the Warriors more time to prepare for Panama City Beach.

The Warriors won game one against Tallahassee State College, 13-5. Tyler Peller lead the Warriors at the plate. He went 3-5 with 3 RBIs and a double. Owen Cornett and Brady Atwell both homered and both finished with 2 RBIs. Bennett Holdener picked up the win on the mound for the Warriors. Matt Helms and Preston Barr also pitched for the Warriors. Barr picked up the save for Wabash Valley.

In game two, Wabash Valley fell to Wallace Community Collage-Dothan, 7-5. Brady Schallmoser went 2-4 at the plate. He finished with two homeruns and 4 RBIs. The Warriors had 14 hits in the loss.

Wabash Valley defeated (15)Georgia Highlands College in game three, 6-3. Enrico Veach and Konnor Brown both went 2-3 at the plate for the Warriors. Veach finished the game with 4 RBIs and a grand slam. Harper Lann got the win on the mound and Martin Ledbetter was awarded with the save.

The Warriors fell to (19)Gulf Coast State College in the final game of the weekend, 5-2. Cameron Dube went 2-3 at the plate for the Warriors. Brady Schallmoser went 1-2 with an RBI.
