| Title: | Head Women's Soccer Coach |
A native of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Laura Bisogni is a proud product of the local community and a trailblazer in women’s soccer. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School, where she made school history as the first soccer player to compete at the Division I level, after playing all four years on the boys’ high school team.
Bisogni continued her playing career at the collegiate level, suiting up for two seasons at Oakland City University. As a freshman, she earned national rankings and was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament Team. She repeated as an All-Tournament selection as a sophomore before transferring to Arkansas State University D1, where she completed her eligibility. While at Arkansas State, she also competed for two years with the women’s rugby team while studying Marketing.
Following her playing days, Bisogni transitioned into coaching. She spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Wabash Valley College. In her first year on the staff, the team reached the Region Finals for the first time in program history, marking a significant milestone for the school.
Bisogni is married to her husband, Dominick, and together they are raising three wonderful children: Enzio, Taione, and Akesa. Her deep roots in Mt. Carmel and passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field drive her commitment to building a competitive program rooted in hard work, character, and family values.
