On September 16th, the Lady Warriors made quick work of the Frontier Community College Lady Bobcats. Wabash took the match in three sets, with scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 25-11. The win moved the Lady Warriors back to .500 at 6-6.
Cristina Felts led WVC with 11 kills. Alyssa Wilke finished the night with 17 assists, which was a team high. Sophie Spanier added 15 digs and Taylor Pittman finished the night with 2 blocks. Ayiana Nieves led WVC with 5 aces. Cristian Felts and Molly Bell added 4 each. The Lady Warriors finished the night with 30 kills, 26 assists, 20 aces and 6 blocks.
Coach Refenes had this to say on the teams performance.
"The team got off to a great start and our offense was aggressive the entire match. Our ball control was good throughout and the girls did a great job keeping the ball off the floor".
