After going 1-1 this past weekend, the Lady Warriors bounced back to even their record at 2-2. The win tonight also made the Warriors 1-0 in conference play. The Warriors lost the first set 25-19, but won the next three 25-22, 25-23, and 25-21.

Tonight for the Lady Warriors, Ayiana Nieves had a double double. She recorded a season high 36 assists, to go along with 23 digs, 5 aces, and 1 block. Cristian Felts had 15 kills, 6 digs, 4 solo blocks, and 2 aces. Sophie Spanier tallied 22 digs with Molly Bell adding 12 of her own. Makaya Porter finished the match with 8 digs and 5 kills. Kathryn Blake had 12 digs and 6 kills. Taylor Pittman and Alexis Johnson both had 5 kills.

Coach Refenes had this to say about tonights match.

"Great team effort. Everyone stepped up and contributed at different moments during the match and that's why we won. The team was aggressive from the service line and I loved to see the relentlessness on defense and chasing down balls".

The Lady Warriors get six days off before hosting Shawnee Community College on September 4th.
