Lady Warriors add Huntington (WV) Duo

Head Women's Basketball Coach Luke Scheidecker has announced the signing of Huntington (WV) duo of Dazha Congleton & Tyesha Taylor. 

Congleton a 5'8" guard played her high school career at Huntington High School.  Congleton one of the top players from the state of West Virigina.  She was a 4 time all state honoree. During her Freshman and Sophomore year she was named 2nd Team All State. While being named 1st Team All State during her Junior and Senior year.  She averaged 17ppg during her senior year of high school. Congleton also surpassed 1000's career points in high school.

"Dazha is a dynamic guard who is a playmaker when she has the ball," said Coach Luke Scheidecker "She is a high level athlete who will make everyone on the floor better when the ball is in her hands.  She can score many different ways"

Taylor a 5'9" forward who attended St. Joseph Central High School in Huntington, WV.  Taylor was an instrumental part in helping lead her high school team win three state championships while finishing 2nd in the other year.  Taylor was a 3x All Tournament Honoree in the state playoffs.  She led her teaming in scoring during her junior year at 12.5ppg.

"Tyesha is a versatile forward, she can do a little bit of everything," said Coach Luke Schiedecker "She is a winner, her teams have had success all throughout high school. Tyesha has a knack for finding the ball and being in the right place at right time."

Taylor and Congleton were AAU teammates for the West Virginia Thunder coached by Scott Johnson.
