The Wabash Valley College Warriors won on the road in exciting fashion Wednesday night 71 to 69 over Danville Area College. WVC was up 68 to 67 with 14 seconds left to play when DAC came down and Darryl Baker their leading scorer would hit a layup with six seconds left to play to take a 69 to 68 led. WVC did not call a timeout and they got the ball into the hands of sophomore Brandon Wolfe who would hit a three point shot with only .00-4 seconds left to play for the win. Wolfe would be WVC top scorer with 19 points while JaKwan Jones would hit for 16 points. WVC was 12 of 24 from behind the arc in the game. WVC is now
8-3 on the season while DAC is 9-3 and stops a six game win streak and their first loss at home this season.
WVC will play Saturday night at Lincoln Trail in Robinson with the women playing at 5:30 and the men at 7:30.
